Altos Ramos - Megs DeMeulenaere - TequilaFest 2016
While at the TequilaFest, Megs DeMeulenaere held a seminar and made one of the most interesting cocktails I have ever tasted. It’s called an Altos Ramos and here is the recipe…

'Altos Ramos'
50ml Altos Plata
25ml Fresh Lime Juice
15ml Agave Syrup
¼ Avocado
50ml Rice Milk
25ml Butter Bean water (or Chickpea water)

Method – Blend all ingredients without ice. Then shake hard with ice.
Glass – Highball
Garnish – Optional spray of Orange Blossom water & biodegradable straw if available.

Megs will correct me if I’m wrong (I had been at the Tequila Festival for 6 hours when her seminar started!) but, if I remember rightly, this cocktail recipe is suitable for vegans because the Butter Bean water adds proteins that you would normally get from using egg white.
